Group Food & Beverage Manager
We are looking for an Group Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the operations of multiple restaurant locations to ensure consistent high standards of service, food quality, and profitability while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly visit assigned restaurants to assess operational performance, including food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and staff adherence to company guidelines
- Analyse sales and cost data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maximise profitability
- Conduct performance reviews with restaurant managers, providing feedback and coaching to enhance team performance
- Monitor and address any issues related to food safety, health and safety regulations, and compliance with company standards
- Recruit, hire and train high-performing restaurant management teams, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to lead their respective locations
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for restaurant staff across all areas, including new employee onboarding and ongoing skills development
- Foster a positive work environment by motivating, empowering, and recognising outstanding team members
- Address employee concerns and performance issues promptly and effectively, including disciplinary actions when necessary
- Analyse financial reports to identify trends and opportunities to optimise revenue and control costs
- Implement strategies to manage labour costs, food inventory, and other operational expenses within budget parameters
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to drive customer traffic and increase sales at assigned locations
- Monitor customer feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement and address guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Regularly engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the dining experience and actively seek opportunities to exceed expectations
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to implement customer service initiatives to enhance brand loyalty
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to identify potential opportunities for growth and innovation
- Participate in the development of new restaurant concepts, menus, and marketing strategies
- Collaborate with the executive team to implement strategic plans and initiatives across the area
