August 2023 – John Bingley, Group executive chef and Andy ‘the Pitmaster’ Clinch Victory at the British Open Freestyle BBQ Championships®, Presented by Smoke and Fire Festivals in Association with BIG K PRODUCTS August 27, 2023 – The thrill of competition and the tantalising aroma of barbecued delights filled the air as Smoke and Fire Festivals, in collaboration with BIG K PRODUCTS, hosted the highly anticipated British Open Freestyle BBQ Championships®. The culmination of their efforts was evident when they were awarded the titles of Smoke and Fire Champions and the prestigious Big K - Best Ribs Category, with their signature dish - St. Louis Char Siu Rib with stir-fried rice. "Being a part of the British Open Freestyle BBQ Championships has been an incredible journey for us," shared John Bingley, the driving force behind the victorious team. "The opportunity to compete on a national stage alongside some of the most talented barbecue enthusiasts is both humbling and inspiring.
